Say hello to smooth, hair free skin in just minutes!

Flex Health provides a superior client experience from the moment you enter.

With a help of a simple beam of light, we zero-in on the area of your choosing to begin your hair-free journey.

Offering small, medium and large treatment areas on the body, we use the most high-tech laser device which harnesses the power of laser energy carried through a small hand-piece.

This hand-piece delivers an intense beam of light, which is absorbed by the skin, and converted into heat. The heat is then absorbed by the selected hair follicles, preventing further growth. All of this is done without damaging or affecting the skin’s surface.

About Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is the #1 aesthetic treatment, among non-invasive aesthetic procedures.

So how does it work? It’s all down to a simple beam of light!

The laser energy is carried through a small hand-piece, operated by one of our specialists. This hand-piece delivers an intense beam of light, which is absorbed by the skin, and converted into heat. The heat is then absorbed by the selected hair follicles, preventing further growth. All of this is done without damaging or affecting the skin’s surface.

The result: we will zap unwanted hair into history, reducing regrowth for a smoother you. Say goodbye to the constant shaving routine and hello to lasting results.

Just remember, for the smoothest experience, choose a pro you can trust

    • What to Expect

      Before Laser Hair Removal

We will schedule a consultation to determine if this is an appropriate treatment option for you.  In this FREE consultation we will:

      • Review your medical history, including medication use, history of skin disorders or scarring, and past hair removal procedures
      • Discuss risks, benefits and expectations, including what laser hair removal can and can’t do for you
      • Take photos to be used for before-and-after assessments and long-term reviews
    • What to Expect

How to Prepare for your Procedure

      • Staying out of the sun.  Avoid sun exposure before and after treatment. Whenever you go out, apply a broad-spectrum, SPF30 sunscreen.
      • Lightening your skin. Avoid any sunless skin creams that darken your skin.
      • Avoiding other hair removal methods. Plucking, waxing and electrolysis can disturb the hair follicle and should be avoided at least four weeks before treatment.
      • Avoiding blood-thinning medications. Avoid aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, and anticoagulants, 24 hours before the procedure.
      • Shaving treatment area. Trimming and shaving is recommended the day before laser treatment. It removes hair above the skin that can result in surface skin damage from burnt hairs, but it leaves the hair shaft intact below the surface.
    • What to Expect

      What you can expect

Laser hair removal usually requires two to six treatments. The interval between treatments will vary depending on the location. On areas where hair grows quickly, such as the upper lip, the treatment might be repeated in four to eight weeks. On areas of slow hair growth, such as the back, the treatment might be every 12 to 16 weeks.

For each treatment you’ll wear special goggles to protect your eyes from the laser beam. An assistant might shave the site again if necessary. The doctor might apply a topical anesthetic to your skin to reduce any discomfort during treatment.

    • What to Expect

      During the procedure

We will press a hand-held laser instrument to your skin. Depending on the type of laser, a cooling device on the tip of the instrument or a cool gel might be used to protect your skin and lessen the risk of side effects.

When we activate the laser, the laser beam will pass through your skin to the hair follicles. The intense heat from the laser beam damages the hair follicles, which inhibits hair growth. You might feel discomfort, such as a warm pinprick, and you’ll likely feel a sensation of cold from the cooling device or gel.

Treating a small area, such as the upper lip, might take only a few minutes. Treating a larger area, such as the back, might take more than an hour.

    • What to Expect

      After the procedure

You might notice redness and swelling for the first few hours after laser hair removal.

To reduce any discomfort, apply ice to the treated area. If you have a skin reaction immediately after laser hair removal, you may apply a steroid cream to the affected area.

After laser hair removal and between scheduled treatments, avoid sunlight and don’t use a tanning bed for six weeks. Use a broad-spectrum SPF30 sunscreen daily.  Click on the link for more aftercare instructions.

      Post Treatment Care

    • What to Expect

      Results

Hairs do not fall out immediately, but you will shed them over a period of days to weeks. This may look like continued hair growth. The repeated treatments are usually necessary because hair growth and loss naturally occur in a cycle, and laser treatment works best with hair follicles in the new-growth stage.

Results vary significantly and are difficult to predict. Most people experience hair removal that lasts several months, and it might last for years. But laser hair removal doesn’t guarantee permanent hair removal. When hair regrows, it’s usually finer and lighter in color.

You might need maintenance laser treatments for long-term hair reduction.

    • What to Expect

      Risks

Risks of side effects vary with skin type, hair color, treatment plan and adherence to pre-treatment and post-treatment care. The most common side effects of laser hair removal include:

      • Skin irritation. Temporary discomfort, redness and swelling are possible after laser hair removal. Any signs and symptoms typically disappear within several hours.
      • Pigment changes. Laser hair removal might darken or lighten the affected skin. These changes might be temporary or permanent. Skin lightening primarily affects those who don’t avoid sun exposure before or after treatment and those who have darker skin.

Rarely, laser hair removal can cause blistering, crusting, scarring or other changes in skin texture. Other rare side effects include graying of treated hair or excessive hair growth around treated areas, particularly on darker skin.

Laser hair removal isn’t recommended for eyelids, eyebrows or surrounding areas, due to the possibility of severe eye injury.

    • Flex Health has changed healthcare for us. We don’t visit a doctor’s office much unless it’s absolutely necessary. Dr. Gedrick has made it the easiest transition. Flex Health has changed healthcare for us. We don’t visit a doctor’s office much unless it’s absolutely necessary. Dr. Gedrick has made it the easiest transition. It’s quick and easy to make an appointment to get my son’s physical. And it’s just as simple to get my daughter seen for an urgent care visit.  I personally love the women’s wellness side of the clinic. I suffered for years with a weak bladder from having children. A quick, painless treatment plan was setup for me and I’m back to jumping on trampolines again and not having to cross my legs to sneeze! I recently started my weight loss plan, and I’ve lost 20 pounds since January. When I think of a healthcare provider, I want somewhere I can feel comfortable and where I know we will be seen, heard, and cared for without being rushed in and out. Flex Health is the missing link in medical care.

    • We needed a last minute sports physical and Dr. Gedrick with Flex Health was able to get us in quickly. He was very thorough and made my son feel very comfortable.

    • I have been on this program for 21 weeks and have lost 36.5 pounds and have lost 10 inches around my stomach. I highly encourage anyone that needs to lose weight and feel better to go see Dr. Gedrick. I am over 50 and have a hard time working out, so this has been amazing in dropping some weight that I have gained over the past 5-10 years.

      Go see Dr. Gedrick!!!!

      Todd B.

I have been on Dr. Gedrick’s weight loss plan for 21 weeks and have had amazing results. She thoughtfully guides me through the program with reminders of what I should, and should not, be doing regarding what and how much I am eating. She stresses the importance of consuming protein to help prevent muscle loss. She also stresses patience, because this treatment is not a race, and some weeks results may be better than others (I weigh myself daily as an accountability check). I have replaced my breakfast and lunch with protein shakes and I have snacks like almonds, pistachios, and beef jerky throughout the day. I try to avoid eating a late dinner, but with kids’ extracurricular activities it is sometimes hard.

As I stated previously, I have been on this program for 21 weeks and have lost 36.5 pounds and have lost 10 inches around my stomach. I recently had my annual physical with my primary care physician, and he is considering decreasing my blood pressure and cholesterol medication dosages. Even on medication my LDL levels (bad cholesterol) have been high, and my HDL levels (good cholesterol) have been low, but both are now in the normal range. My glucose levels dropped from high to normal as well.

There are eight dosage levels of the Semaglutide and I just recently went to the second level, so I am having excellent results by listening to her recommendations. I highly encourage anyone that needs to lose weight and feel better to go see Dr. Gedrick. I am over 50 and have a hard time working out, so this has been amazing in dropping some weight that I have gained over the past 5-10 years.

      Go see Dr. Gedrick!!!!

    Benefits of Laser Hair Removal

    Cost-Effective Over Time

While the upfront cost of laser hair removal may be higher than traditional methods like shaving or waxing, it offers long-term savings. As the need for frequent maintenance treatments diminishes, you’ll spend less money overall compared to the continuous expense of razors, waxing sessions, and other hair removal products.

    Long-Lasting Results

Laser hair removal provides long-term reduction in hair growth, with many people experiencing permanent results after several sessions. This reduces the need for ongoing hair removal routines, saving you both time and money in the long run.

    Precision and Reduced Skin Irritation

The laser precisely targets and removes hair without damaging the surrounding skin, leading to fewer ingrown hairs and less irritation. This is a major advantage over traditional methods that often cause skin issues and require frequent treatment.

    About Flex Health

For over 27 years, Dr. Beau and Dr. Brooke have been working in the health industry and have seen time and time again how the healthcare system fails to serve patients and doctors.

They determined the best way to care for their patients was to create a membership-based healthcare clinic that would provide patients the immediate care they need without requiring them to jump through insurance hoops or go into debt. With direct primary care, patients have more access to their doctors, and receive higher-quality care than they would in a traditional doctors office. Whatever care you need, Flex Health offers the dedication and care you need to live every day to it’s fullest.
