Our Story

Flex Health's Inspiration

Flex Health was conceived by doctors who saw how the traditional healthcare system fails to help patients with their issues—with exhausted, burnt-out staff and unnecessary obstacles set up by insurance companies.

Drs. Beau and Brooke Gedrick were leaders in the healthcare industry and they saw first-hand how the healthcare system benefits neither patients nor doctors. So, they created a health clinic in Evans, GA, that could support and heal patients with consistent and committed care that doesn’t financially cripple them.

Our History

After all his time in the healthcare industry, Dr. Beau Gedrick wanted to do medicine differently. His research has shown that patient care drastically improves on a membership-based healthcare model, so he decided to open Flex Health in 2023.

Dr. Beau also founded the Flex Sports Foundation in 2023 to help CSRA’s underserved athletes. With his private health clinic in Evans and the Flex Sports Foundation, Dr. Beau Gedrick aims to improve healthcare for patients and doctors.

Our Mission

By eliminating the conventional insurance-based billing system, we free ourselves from the burdens of extensive documentation, coding, billing, accreditation, and insurance company contracts. Our commitment to this approach enables us to deliver highly personalized medical care in our health clinic in Evans, GA, that’s tailored to your unique needs.

The Flex Health Approach

Before your initial visit with our team, we ask that you make sure to fill out the proper forms to ensure that your first visit can be spent focusing on your health goals. During your appointment, you’ll review your medical history with Dr. Gedrick and discuss any issues you may be experiencing.

During your initial appointment, Dr. Gedrick will ask about any health concerns you may have. Whether you’re looking for pain relief or simply switching your primary care physician, having health goals helps us determine the care you need. Once we have an idea of what needs to be done, we’ll schedule diagnostic and follow-up appointments as needed.

A lot of our testing is done in-house and can be accomplished during your initial visit. If that’s not the case, then Dr. Gedrick will help you schedule whatever follow-up and diagnostic appointments you may need. Our services are included in our membership fee, so there’s no need to worry about hidden fees or charges for our services later on.

I have been on Dr. Gedrick’s weight loss plan for 21 weeks and have had amazing results. She thoughtfully guides me through the program with reminders of what I should, and should not, be doing regarding what and how much I am eating. She stresses the importance of consuming protein to help prevent muscle loss. She also stresses patience, because this treatment is not a race, and some weeks results may be better than others (I weigh myself daily as an accountability check). I have replaced my breakfast and lunch with protein shakes and I have snacks like almonds, pistachios, and beef jerky throughout the day. I try to avoid eating a late dinner, but with kids’ extracurricular activities it is sometimes hard.

As I stated previously, I have been on this program for 21 weeks and have lost 36.5 pounds and have lost 10 inches around my stomach. I recently had my annual physical with my primary care physician, and he is considering decreasing my blood pressure and cholesterol medication dosages. Even on medication my LDL levels (bad cholesterol) have been high, and my HDL levels (good cholesterol) have been low, but both are now in the normal range. My glucose levels dropped from high to normal as well.

There are eight dosage levels of the Semaglutide and I just recently went to the second level, so I am having excellent results by listening to her recommendations. I highly encourage anyone that needs to lose weight and feel better to go see Dr. Gedrick. I am over 50 and have a hard time working out, so this has been amazing in dropping some weight that I have gained over the past 5-10 years.
