    • What to Expect

      Evaluation

      For your first visit, you’ll meet with either Dr. Beau Gedrick or Dr. Brooke Gedrick and talk about your medical history. We ask that you fill out all the necessary forms before your appointment. That way, your appointment time can be spent focusing on your present health needs. Either Dr. Beau or Dr. Brooke will ask you about medications, past injuries, and any issues you may be experiencing.

      Treatment

      Treatment will look different depending on the injury, but if we determine that you need a specialist’s or a surgeon’s attention, then we’ll call those services for you and recommend doctors we know. Dr. Beau and Dr. Brooke have been in healthcare for many years and have gotten to know many doctors who embrace their same values—so their recommendations are trustworthy providers who will offer the best care. If you can be treated in-house, then our exceptional staff will provide you with the care you need and schedule follow-up appointments to make sure everything is healing up just fine.

      Follow-Up

      During your follow-up, we’ll make sure everything is healing well and make any adjustments to your treatment plan as needed. If you had to see a specialist outside our office, we’ll gather the details about your treatment from them and update your medical history. We’ll also help with treatment.

      I have been on Dr. Gedrick’s weight loss plan for 21 weeks and have had amazing results. She thoughtfully guides me through the program with reminders of what I should, and should not, be doing regarding what and how much I am eating. She stresses the importance of consuming protein to help prevent muscle loss. She also stresses patience, because this treatment is not a race, and some weeks results may be better than others (I weigh myself daily as an accountability check). I have replaced my breakfast and lunch with protein shakes and I have snacks like almonds, pistachios, and beef jerky throughout the day. I try to avoid eating a late dinner, but with kids’ extracurricular activities it is sometimes hard.

      As I stated previously, I have been on this program for 21 weeks and have lost 36.5 pounds and have lost 10 inches around my stomach. I recently had my annual physical with my primary care physician, and he is considering decreasing my blood pressure and cholesterol medication dosages. Even on medication my LDL levels (bad cholesterol) have been high, and my HDL levels (good cholesterol) have been low, but both are now in the normal range. My glucose levels dropped from high to normal as well.

      There are eight dosage levels of the Semaglutide and I just recently went to the second level, so I am having excellent results by listening to her recommendations. I highly encourage anyone that needs to lose weight and feel better to go see Dr. Gedrick. I am over 50 and have a hard time working out, so this has been amazing in dropping some weight that I have gained over the past 5-10 years.

Instead of continuing with the healthcare system as it is today, they set out on a search for an alternative healthcare model that provided both doctors and patients with what they needed.
